Its bookings have already begun and the SUV is reportedly gathered over 40,000 bookings before its market arrival. Designed on Suzuki’s Global C-platform, the Maruti Grand Vitara will be the brand’s first car to come with the strong hybrid powertrain. The new-generation Maruti Brezza will receive CNG variants by the end of this year. One must note that its official launch date and details are yet to be announced. The factory-fitted CNG kit is likely to be offered on the mid-spec and higher trims only. It will come with the new K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine coupled to a CNG kit. Under the hood, the Venue N Line will feature the 120PS, 1.0L turbo petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Hyundai’s top-selling Creta SUV is ready to enter into its new-generation in coming months. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the carmaker has confirmed that it will come in H2, 2022. No changes will be made to its engine setup. The new 2022 Hyundai Creta will witness comprehensive changes inside and out. On the exterior, it will get the new Tucson-inspired parametric grille, new LED DRLs, new bumpers, slightly repositioned headlamps and updated tailgate. Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be the second electric offering from the South Korean automaker in India. The electric crossover is based on the E-GMP architecture and it will be brought here as a CBU (Completely Built Up) unit. Globally, the Ioniq 5 comes with two powertrains – single motor setup and dual-motor setup with AWD. The single motor version delivers power worth 169bhp with 350Nm and it accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 8.5 seconds. The dual-motor model can achieve 0 to 100kmph in 5.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 185kmph. The 2022 Hyundai Kona facelift will witness a market launch in coming months. The electric SUV will receive noticeable cosmetic changes and feature upgrades. The updated Kona will be made available with the bigger 64kWh battery pack and an electric motor pushing out power around 204bhp. Tata Altroz EV is expected to launch by the end of 2022. The model was first showcased in its concept form at the 2020 Auto Expo. Powertrain setup of the electric hatchback is likely consist of the updated Ziptron technology that’s available on the Nexon EV Max. Though, its battery size could be different. Compared to its ICE version, the Altroz EV will be slightly more expensive. In terms of design and styling, it will be different from the regular model. The Mahindra Bolero will soon be introduced with the brand’s new Twin Perks logo. No other changes are expected to be made on the 2022 model year. The SUV will continue to come with the 1.5L mHawk diesel engine that’s good for 175bhp and 210Nm. It will have a 5-speed manual gearbox with RWD system. The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus with 7 and 9-seats configuration options will arrive towards the end of 2022. Powering the SUV will be Thar’s 2.2L mHawk diesel engine with manual and automatic gearboxes. The model lineup will be made available in P4 and P10 trims and it will measure 4400mm in length, 1795mm in width and 1812mm in height. The SUV will have a 2680mm long wheelbase. Mahindra XUV400, the electric version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV, will hit showrooms on 8th September 2022. Unlike its ICE version, the electric SUV will measure above 4 meters and offer extra boot space. However, its overall width and height will remain unchanged. The carmaker says that it will use the LG Chem sourced high-energy-dense NMC battery, which are superior than LFP cells of the Tata Nexon EV. The XUV400 is expected to promise a range of over 400km on a single charge. A few design bits will differentiate from its ICE version and the Blue accents will highlight its electric nature. The automaker has already dropped a teaser of the upcoming new Mahindra XUV300 revealing its design details. The SUV’s updated model is likely to hit roads during this festive season. Along with the significant design and feature upgrades, the 2022 Mahindra XUV300 facelift will receive a new 1.2L trubo T-GDI mStallion petrol engine. The new gasoline unit will be good for 130bhp and 230Nm, thus making it 20bhp more powerful and 30Nm torqueier. The existing 1.5L diesel engine will also be on offer.
