Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus – Thar’s Diesel Engine, 7/9-Seats Options

Mahindra & Mahindra is ready to launch the new-generation Scorpio and Bolero Neo Plus in coming days. Prices of the new Scorpio-N will be announced on the coming 27th June. Launch date of the new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is yet to be revealed. It’s essentially the three-row version of the Bolero Neo and it will come as a replacement to the TUV300 (which is now discontinued). According to a fresh media report, the new Bolero Neo Plus will share its engine with the Thar off-road SUV. That means, the SUV will come with the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine with both manual and automatic gearboxes.

The automaker, however, might detuned the motor for the three-row Bolero Neo. Similar to its 5-seater version, it will have power and drive modes. The new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be offered in P4 and P10 trims and two seating layouts – 7 and 9-seats. There will also be an ambulance version with 4 seats and a patient bed. Dimensionally, the SUV will measure 4,400mm in length, 1,795mm in width and 1,812mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,680mm.

The SUV will be positioned as premium as the XUV700 and it will share lots of design elements, features and engine with its sibling. The new Scorpio-N will offer high riding position and come with 6 and 7-seats configurations. The automaker has equipped the SUV with several advanced goodies including a 12-speaker audio system with 3D sound staging, connected car features, sunroof, dual-tone interior and more.
