Ford India will soon expand its EcoSport carline with a new Titanium S variant. Besides, the company will also launch a new EcoSport Signature edition based on the Titanium+ variant. If latest media report is to be believed, the new 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium S variant will go on sale on May 14, 2018. Ford has already started dispatching the new models to dealerships, and pictures suggest cosmetic enhancement and feature upgrades the vehicle has received.
The new 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium S variant will be positioned above the range-topping Titanium+ trim in the model’s line-up. On the exterior, the 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium S variant features ‘Titanium S’ badge. The ‘S’ suffix in the nameplate probably signifies the sport edition. The 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium S will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Called EcoBoost, this engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 123bhp and a peak torque of 200Nm. The diesel version will be powered by the same 1.5-litre TDCi unit that powers the standard EcoSport. Paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, this engine produces 99bhp and 205Nm of torque.
