New 2025 Tata Punch Facelift – What To Expect?

Tata Motors is working on the facelifted version of the Punch mini-SUV, which is expected to go on sale by mid 2025 in India. It was spotted testing for the first time, a few weeks back on the Indian roads. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift will take styling cues from the Punch EV which was launched earlier this year in the country. The Punch facelift will rival Hyundai Exter and Citroen C3 in the domestic market.

The spy-images of the testing model wearing camouflage have revealed a few key changes in the Punch facelift. It will get the same split headlamps, bumper and bonnet line as the Punch EV. However, reports indicate that Tata Punch facelift might not feature the full-width LED light bar at the front fascia in order to distinguish it from the EV model. The bumper could also get multiple new decals while there doesn’t seem to be any substantial change anywhere, except for the differently designed alloy wheels. 2025 Tata Punch Facelift Features and Interior

The upholstery, dashboard and seats are going to be similar to what we have seen in the Punch EV. However, Tata Motors has clarified that the feature list will be different in ICE and EV versions, identical to the Nexon ICE and Nexon EV. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift could miss out on a host of advanced features such as electronic parking brake, all-wheel disc brakes and bigger touchscreen infotainment system. The Punch EV, in all likelihood, will be the better equipped vehicle among the two.

2025 Tata Punch Facelift Engine

Mechanically, we do not expect any update in the Punch facelift as it is likely to carry the same naturally-aspirated 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine which generates 85 bhp and 113 Nm. The gearbox choices are going to be a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. There will also be a CNG model with the same engine setup, albeit with lower power output.
