9. Maruti Baleno SHVS Petrol Hybrid
After introducing its SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) on the Ciaz and Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki India is now planning to launch Baleno premium hatchback with this mild hybrid technology. However, this time around the SHVS will come with the petrol version of the car. If reports are to be believed, Maruti is working on a BS-VI compliant engine that will run on higher octane fuel. This powertrain is likely to debut on the Baleno SHVS petrol hybrid. In terms of design and features, the SHVS version of the hatchback will be same as the regular model. Though, it might get newly-designed alloy wheels, new rear disc brakes and Dualjet badge.
