Maruti Suzuki to Launch 11 New Cars in India Within Next 2 Years

7. Maruti Ciaz 2017

First launched in 2014, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will receive its first makeover in the year 2017. One of the most anticipated upcoming new Maruti Cars in India, the 2017 Ciaz is expected to be more up-market than the current-gen model. While the company might retain the existing 1.3-litre SHVS diesel unit, speculations are on rife that the mid-size sedan will come with a more powerful 1.5-litre M15 engine.

Just so you know, the same engine will make its debut in India with the S-Cross that will be launched in 2017. The new engine will be made available with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
