The media drive for the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will begin on 22nd November.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has confirmed that it will launch the new-generation Ertiga MPV on November 21, 2018. The media drive for the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will begin on 22nd November. While the official bookings for the MPV will be commenced near its launch, certain dealers have started taking pre-orders for the vehicle. Aiming to clear the inventory, Maruti Suzuki dealers are offering huge discounts of the current-generation Ertiga.

The new Maruti Ertiga 2018 witnessed two major changes – the new HEARTECT platform and a new 1.5L petrol engine – along with several others. The new architecture makes the new model lighter, stiffer and safer than before. It will also improve overall performance of the car. The new powertrain delivers power worth 104bhp and 138Nm of torque. The MPV, however, will continue to use the 1.3L diesel motor producing a top power of 89bhp. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic unit. Interestingly, the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will also be more frugal than the existing one. Proportionally, the new Maruti Ertiga 2018 will be longer (by 99mm) and taller (by 5mm) than the current generation. It’s overall length, width and height stand at 4395mm, 1735mm and 1690mm respectively. The MPV continues to sit on 2740mm of wheelbase. Some of the key changes include Suzuki’s new SmartPlay infotainment system with a 6.8-inch floating touchscreen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new automatic climate control, rear AC vents, newly-designed grille and bumpers, projector headlamps, new alloy wheels and new wraparound taillamps.
