Maruti Baleno Premium Hatchback

The new Maruti Baleno facelift is expected to be launched in June 2019.

We informed you earlier that Maruti is working the updated version of the Baleno hatchback, which will be launched in the first half of 2019. If latest media report is to be believed, the Baleno facelift will go on sale by June 2019. The report further suggests that the hatchback will retain the current model’s engine mechanics. It will receive cosmetic changes and feature additions.

Maruti is yet to start testing the hatchback on the roads, which suggest that the model could come with minor design changes. The hatchback is most likely to receive a range of new features to compete well against the loaded Hyundai i20. The Baleno facelift is available with 3 engine options – 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol, 1.2-litre K-Series petrol & a 1.3-litre diesel engine. While the Boosterjet engine is capable of producing 100.3bhp of power and 150Nm of torque, the 1.2L unit offers 83bhp and 113Nm. Also See – 3 New Maruti Vitara Brezza Rivals Coming Within 1 Year
