New Generation Hyundai Xcent Might Get A Sunroof; Launch Details Revealed
The new Hyundai Xcent 2020 is likely to come with BSVI ready powertrains.
It’s no secret that Hyundai is working on the new-generation Grand i10, Xcent, Creta and Tucson. According to a fresh media report, the South Korean carmaker might roll out the new-generation Hyundai Xcent sedan sometime early 2020. However, no official word is available on the same. Measuring sub-4 meter in length, the updated version of the sedan is likely to wider than the current model.
With minor dimensional changes, the company aims to provide more headroom, legroom and shoulder room, especially to the rear seat occupants. Report further suggests that the new Hyundai Xcent 2020 might share its platform with the new-generation Grand i10 hatchback, which is currently under its testing phase. The new Hyundai Xcent 2020 is likely to witness major design and styling upgrades. The rear doors could be longer than the current generation. It might also come with a 12V socket, USB charging ports at the rear and AC vents. Rumor has it that the company might also offer a sunroof on the new Xcent sedan. Similar to the new-generation Grand i10 that’s reported to hit showrooms in October 2019, the new Hyundai Xcent 2020 will get the BSVI ready powertrains. The South Korean carmaker has confirmed that its existing and upcoming all-new products will get the Smart Auto AMT gearbox that will debut on the new 2018 Hyundai Santro hatchback. The AMT unit will replace the existing torque converter transmission on the sedan carline.
