Korean automaker, Hyundai will re-introduce the popular Santro nameplate in the Indian market in October 2018. The vehicle will officially reveal on October 9, followed by launch in the last week of the same month. The new Santro will act as an entry level product for the Korean brand, which means Hyundai Eon will be phased out in near future. The new Santro will be based on the old i10’s platform, which has been modified for better structure integrity.
