Next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to be launched in India in October 2019.

Korean automaker, Hyundai is working on the next-gen Grand i10, Elite i20, Creta and Xcent compact sedan. The first model to go on sale is the next-gen Grand i10, which has already been spotted testing in India. According to the latest media report, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to be launched in India in October 2019. However, Hyundai is yet to make an official announcement on the same.

While the Grand i10 available in India is larger than the global model, the next-gen model will come in single version only. It will be a global model, which comes with better legroom and backseat comfort. Talking about styling, the next-gen Grand i10 is likely to borrow styling cues from the upcoming Hyundai Elantra facelift. Read – Maruti Vitara Brezza Challenger: Hyundai STYX Launch In March 2019

It is likely to get a signature hexagonal front grille and wider headlamps and tail-lamps. The hatchback is expected to come with wider stance, while the tall-boy profile will be toned down for more aggressive profile. It will directly rival the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The Grand i10 is already a feature-loaded car, and the next model could receive even more high-end features. Expect a larger touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The hatchback is likely to get the existing set of engines – 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol and 75bhp, 1.2-litre diesel. However, these engines will be tuned to meet the upcoming BSVI emission norms. Instead of torque convertor automatic, the upcoming Grand i10 facelift could get a new AMT gearbox. With added features and new BSVI compliant engines, the next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 could be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model.
