Hero Destini 125 Scooter Set To Launch On 22nd October

The Hero Destini 125 was previewed as the Duet 125 at the 2018 Auto Expo.

Hero Motocorp has confirmed that it will launch the all-new Destini 125 scooter on October 22, 2018. The Hero Destini 125 is essentially the production version of the Duet 125 that was previewed at the Auto Expo in February, 2018. In the 125cc scooter space, this new vehicle will take on the Honda Activa 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and Aprilia 125.

For power, the Hero Destini 125 uses a 124.6cc, 4-stroke air-cooled engine paired to a CVT gearbox. This motor is the bored out version of the 110cc unit that has been calibrated to deliver better low-end power for higher urban usability. Read – New Hero XF3R 300cc Bike To Challenge Bajaj Dominar

Benefited with i3S idle start/stop technology, this motor pushes out a peak power of 8.7bhp at 6750rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5000rpm. It can attain a top speed of 85kmph. Mileage figure of the scooter is yet to be revealed by the company. For braking purpose, the Hero Destini 125 gets Integrated Braking System (IBS) along with an optional front disc brake. Hero’s new 125cc scooter rides on 90/100-10 front and 90/100-10 rear tyres. Suspension mechanism includes a telescopic fork upfront and single coil spring hydraulic unit at the rear. The scooter will be available in four paint schemes – Panther Black, Chestnut Bronze, Pearl Silver White and Noble Red.

Some of its key features include a new front apron with chrome accents, dual-tone mirrors, semi-digital instrument cluster with service reminder, boot light, mobile charging port and outer fuel-filler cap.
