MG Hector New Prices & Details
MG Motor India recently announced a price hike for the Hector SUV. The prices of the vehicle have gone up by 2.5 percent – i.e. up to Rs 40,000. Initially, the MG Hector was made available in price range of Rs 12.18 lakh – Rs 16.88 lakh.
Now, its prices start at Rs 12.48 lakh for the entry-level Style petrol manual variant and go up to Rs 17.28 lakh for the range-topping Sharp diesel manual trim.

The petrol-hybrid Super, Smart and Sharp variants are now available at Rs 13.88 lakh, Rs 14.98 lakh and Rs 16.28 lakh respectively. The carline includes two automatic variants – Smart (petrol) and Sharp (petrol) – that cost Rs 15.68 lakh and Rs 17.18 lakh respectively. Read – MG eZS SUV India Launch Soon
Prices of the diesel manual variants range from Rs 13.48 lakh to Rs 17.28 lakh. The Style and Super petrol manual models are priced at Rs 12.48 lakh and Rs 13.28 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, India.
The British carmarker will increase Hector’s production by November, 2019. Currently, the SUV is observing waiting period between 3 to 4 months, depending on the variant, transmission and colour choice. In September, the MG Hector recorded its highest ever monthly sales of 2608 units. The carmaker has sold over 5,000 units of the SUV since its launch in the country.
MG Motor India has already confirmed that it will bring in the 7-seater version of the Hector. It’s likely to debut at the 2020 Auto Expo in February. The MG Hector 7-seater will feature bench type second row seat with one-touch tumble funtion and third row seat with 50:50 split function. The MG Hector 6-seater version recently caught on camera during its test rounds in India.
