MG Hector Bookings Re-Open; Prices Increased By 2.5%

MG Hector bookings have been resumed from today across the nation. With an aim to increase the SUV’s production, the carmaker will start the second shift at its Halol plant in Gujarat from November, 2019. Therefore, the bookings for Hector will be open for a limited time period.

Besides recommencing bookings, the British carmaker announced a 2.5% price hike across the MG Hector carline. One must note that the prices will vary variant wise. Customers who have already booked the Hector and are waiting for their deliveries will remain protected from the price hike. The new prices will be applicable for the new batch of customers. MG Hector Bookings Reopen

The company is giving booking priority to its already waiting 15,000 customers. Interested buyers can pre-booking the vehicle on MG Motor India’s official website or at any authorized MG dealerships by paying a sum of Rs 50,000. Read – MG Hector 7-Seater India Launch Early Next Year

The MG Hector was launched within the price range of Rs 12.18 lakh (for the Style Petrol MT) – Rs 16.88 lakh (for the Sharp Diesel MT). All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Engine setup of the MG Hector includes three motors – the Fiat-sourced 168bhp, 2.0L diesel, 141bhp, 1.5L petrol and 1.5L petrol with a 48V mild hybrid system. While the oil burner and gasoline unit come with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the petrol hybrid powertrain is paired to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
