Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Launching Tomorrow – What To Expect
Maruti Suzuki will roll out its much-awaited S-Presso mini SUV in India tomorrow. The all-new Maruti S-Presso will be made available in 9 variants – Std (O), LXi, LXi (O), VXi, VXi (O), VXi AGS, VXi (O) AGS and VXi AGS.
For power, the mini SUV will use a BS6-compliant 1.0L petrol engine delivering power worth 68bhp and 90Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and an optional AGS (Auto Gear Shift).
The top-spec trim of the Maruti S-Presso will get an all-black interior with orange coloured inserts for dashboard and AC vents. The SmartPlay Studio system with a 7-inch touchscreen will also be reserved for the top-of-the-line variant. It will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link. Other key features will include steering mounted audio and telephony controls, 12V power sockets, USB, centrally positioned cup holders, front power windows, a manual HVAC, a centrally mounted instrument console.
On safety front, the Maruti S-Presso will get driver’s airbag, rear parking sensors, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) and speed alert system as standard features. The Maruti S-Presso shares some of its design bits with the Future S Concept that broke cover at the 2018 Auto Expo. Though, it gets a new grille with four trapezoid-shaped inserts finished in chrome, dual-tone bumpers, steel wheels with covers, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, turn indicators mounted on fender, an integrated spoiler and C-shaped taillamps.
