MG Hector Modified With Dark Black Theme – Looks Sporty

MG Hector Blacked Out (1)

MG Motors had launched the all-new Hector SUV in the Indian market earlier this year. Called India’s first Internet Car, the new MG Hector has been receiving overwhelming response from buyers. The company has received over 20,000 pre-orders for the SUV. In fact, bookings for the SUV temporarily closed in the country. However, MG will again start taking pre-bookings for the Hector in October, 2019.

The MG Hector directly rivals the Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Harrier. Its size is equal to the Toyota Fortuner, which makes it looks bigger and intimidating on the roads. MG Hector is one of the models currently on sale in India which comes with factory-finished black paint. The new Hector has been modified with blackened theme, where all the chrome parts are finished in black. The all-black colour scheme is visible on the bumper, diffuser and the side skirts. The standard model gets chromed grille, which has been replaced by all-black colour in the modified model. At the back, the black treatment takes over the chrome and other parts of the SUV. The owner has also fitted the new 17-inch multispoke alloy wheels. The disc brakes are finished in yellow. With subtle changes, the modified Hector looks sportier than the stock version of the vehicle.

The MG Hector SUV is equipped with several segment-first features including an AI-enabled 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which has 100 functions in the car through voice commands. The SUV is available in 3 trims – Style, Super and Smart – priced from Rs 12.18 lakh to Rs 16.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Engine options include a 140bhp, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, a 168bhp, 2.0-litre diesel and a petrol-hybrid. The carmaker will launch the BSVI compliant Hector diesel in January 2020.
