Maruti Vitara Brezza is an instant hit for the Indo-Japanese carmaker in India. This compact SUV has recorded over 60,000 unit sales so far. As the bookings keep pouring in, the Vitara Brezza has now crossed the 1 lakh booking milestone within eight months of its arrival in the country. As mentioned above, the Vitara Brezza kept heaving pre-orders from the first day. Though, it’s the festive season that brought more charm to its pocket. The compact SUV registered a total sales of 10,056 units in October, 2016. It was the second time when the vehicle breached the 10,000 sales mark since its launch, first in July 2016. If the compact SUV maintains the sales momentum, which is a possibility, it will achieve the 1 lakh sales mark by the end of this year.
Aiming to boost Vitara Brezza’s sales, Maruti Suzuki introduced an online iCreate customisation program that offers five accessory packages – Sports Velocity, Sports Accelerate, Glamour Elegance, Glamour Glitz, and Urban Dynamic. These personalisation programs include 90 customisation options that can be chosen as per preferences. The Indo-Japanese carmaker is also offering the ‘A La Carte’ accessories option to Brezza buyers. One can select any package via an online configurator on the Vitara Brezza’s official website. This system will tell you the exact prices of the accessories.

Coming to the car itself, the Maruti Vitara Brezza has a 1.3-litre DDIS diesel powetrain producing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. The company will soon introduce the petrol iteration and an AMT-equipped model of the compact SUV. The Vitara Brezza is the first sub-4 metre SUV from Maruti Suzuki’s stable.
