Mahindra XUV300 Launch Date Revealed
Bookings for the SUV have already been commenced at dealership level.
Mahindra & Mahindra is doing final launch preparations for its all-new compact SUV – Mahindra XUV300. During its official name unveiling, the carmaker announced the SUV will go on sale in the first quarter of 2019. According to a fresh media report, the Mahindra XUV300 will be rolled out on 15th February, 2019. Bookings for the SUV have already been commenced at dealership level.
Recently, the Mahindra XUV300 caught on camera during its TV commercial shoot. Based on the Tivoli’s X100 platform, the new Mahindra sub-4-metre SUV has been equipped with several segment-first features including smart steering function, dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, all-disc brakes and seven airbags.

Besides this, the SUV features a large 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that might support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The high-spec trim could be exclusively offered with a sunroof. Other key features will include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 17-inch machine cut alloys, floating roof design, leather seats, reverse parking sensors, electronic stability programme (ESP) and hill launch assist. Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV300 will house a 1.5L diesel and a new 1.2L turborcharged petrol engine. The oil burner has been sourced from the Marazzo MPV that delivers a claimed power of 123bhp with 300Nm of torque. The new gasoline unit, on the other hand, will return power close to 120bhp. Mahindra has confirmed that its new compact SUV will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. The automatic version might be introduced at a later stage.
