Jawa Bikes Deliveries To Begin From 4th Week Of March, 2019
Buyers will be notified by their respective dealers before a week of delivery.
Jawa Motorcycles has confirmed that it will begin deliveries of Jawa and Jawa Forty Two (42) motorcycles from the fourth week of March, 2019. Deliveries will be made on the basis of booking queue. Anupam Tharejam, Co-founder of Classic Legends, has taken twitter to make the announcement. Buyers will be notified by their respective dealers before a week of delivery.
Jawa and Jawa Forty Two were launched in November, last year. While the former is priced at Rs 1.64 lakh, the latter one carries a price tag of Rs 1.55 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. In the very first year their arrival, the company aims to sell around 7,500 units of the motorcycles on the monthly basis. Just so you know, the bookings for Jawa bikes have been closed till September, 2019.

Both Jawa and Jawa Forty Two source power from a 293cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces a maximum power output of 27bhp and a peak torque of 28Nm. Based on the double cradle frame, the new Jawa motorcycles get 280mm disc with floating caliper up front coupled to ABS (anti-lock braking system) and 153mm rear drum brake. Jawa Perak, the factory-custom bobber, has been priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries of the third Jawa bike are reported to begin by the end of this year. The bobber makes use of a 334cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled boosted with fuel injected technology. This motor delivers a peak power of 30bhp against 31Nm of torque.
