Jawa Perak 334cc Bobber Booking and Delivery Timeline Out
Bookings for the Jawa Perak bobber are expected to commence post September 2019.
Jawa had introduced 3 new motorcycles – Jawa Classic, Forty Two and Perak Bobber in November 2018. The company announced that the Classic and Forty Two will first go on sale. In fact, bookings for both the models have already been started. If latest media report is to be believed, bookings for the Jawa Perak Bobber will start towards the end of this year, post September.
Speaking to IAB, Anupam Thareja, Founder of Classic Legends Pvt Ltd. said, “As of now, we are taking bookings only for these two bikes. We want to provide the best sales & service experience. So, probably towards the end of the year, we’ll start the bookings for the Perak.”

The Jawa Perak is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is basically a modern-classic factory custom bobber, which is based on the slightly modified chassis that underpins the Classic and Jawa Forty Two. The motorcycle gets a single cantilever seat, mono-shock suspension and a redesigned swingarm. Deliveries for the motorcycle are expected to commence by the end of 2019.
The Jawa Perak bobber is powered by a 334cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, fuel-injected engine. This engine churns out 30bhp of power and 31Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle won’t have a direct competition in the market, though it could impact the sales of RE Classic and Thunderbird 350. The motorcycle gets dual disc brakes and dual-channel ABS as standard.
