Hyundai Creta 7-seater SUV Rendered Based On New Spy Images

Hyundai 7-Seater SUV Rendering

A few days back, we have seen the first spy pictures of the upcoming Hyundai Creta 7-seater SUV. The semi-camouflaged prototype revealed some of its exterior details. Now, a digital rendering based on the latest spy images gives us a fair idea about its possible design. Compared to the regular Creta, the 7-seater model will be more premium and spacious.

Upfront, the rendered Hyundai Creta 7-seater features a radiator grille with chrome inserts as we have seen in the Palisade SUV. While the lower air intake is bigger, the faux skid plate is smaller than the 5-seater Creta. The headlamps and fog lamp assembly are carried over from the standard model.

The side profile looks similar to the Hyundai Palisade. The Creta’s 7-seater version carries a newly-designed side sills and roofline. It might also get the slimmer C-pillar and differently designed roof rails. Similar to its prototype, the production-ready model is likely to come with the large 17-inch clean silver alloy wheels. The longer rear overhang will help accommodate an additional third row of seats.

Interior layout of the Hyundai Creta 7-seater might be similar to the standard model. Though, the bigger model will have more features to offer such as front parking sensors, configurable ambient lighting, a 360 degree camera and more.

Engine setup is likely to be carried over from the 5-seater version. This means, the Creta 7-seater will come with the same 1.4L turbocharged petrol, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine options. Globally, the SUV might get a 1.6L turbo petrol or a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine sourced from the Kia Seltos (global-spec).

There is no official word on its India launch timeline. Though, the reports suggest that the Creta 7-seater might hit our shores in the second half of 2021. Once launched, it will take on the cars like Mahindra XUV500 and upcoming Tata Gravitas and MG Hector Plus.
