Hero Xtreme 200R Launched Across the Nation; Priced at Rs 89,900

Deliveries of the Hero Xtreme 200R will be commenced from the next week.

Hero Xtreme 200R naked sports bike has been launched across the nation at Rs 89,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries of the bike will be commenced from the next week. Initially, the bike was made available in the North Eastern states and West Bengal at Rs 88,000 (ex-showroom). With the Xtreme 200R, the bikemaker reentered into the premium 200cc motorcycle segment.

For the record, the company claims that the Hero Xtreme 200R delivers “useful real world performance with a range of premium features” that makes it “an appealing overall package” to customers. The Hero Xtreme 200R is claimed to offer abundant power and torque across the rev bands. It can accelerate 0 to 60kmph in 4.6 seconds and attain a maximum speed of 114kmph. Sporting muscular stance, the Xtreme 200R sits on a lightweight yet stiff platform aiding to its overall handling and high speed stability. Hero’s new 200cc bike is available in five dual-tone shades – Panther Black with Red, Panther Black with cool Silver, Charcoal Grey with Orange, Sports Red and Techno Blue. The Xterme 200R comes with safety features such as 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brakes with a standard ABS system. It gets 37mm broad front fork and the 7-step adjustable mono-shock suspension technology.
