Ford Freestyle will soon be available for online booking exclusively on Amazon for 24 hours only. The bookings will start from 2:00 pm on April, 14, 2018. Only first 100 customers will get the opportunity to book the crossover by simply logging on the Amazon website and making an initial payment of Rs 10,000 via Amazon’s payment modes. Referred as India’s first compact utility vehicle (CUV), the Ford Freestyle will lock horns against Hyundai i20 Active, Toyota Etios Cross and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. Under the hood, the crossover features a 1.2L, 3-cylinder TiVCT petrol and a 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The gasoline unit is good for 96bhp and 120Nm of torque, and the oil burner generates 100bhp with 215Nm of torque. Both the motors are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Some of its key features include automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, all four power windows, automatic climate control, rear parking camera, push start-stop button, 6.5-inch floating touchscreen, Ford’s SYNC3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, one touch up-down driver side window and perimeter anti-theft alarm.
