2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Details

Maruti Suzuki has started the dispatches of the new Vitara Brezza facelift to its dealerships across the nation. Bookings for the vehicle have been commenced since its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2020. While there is no official date given to us yet, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift is rumoured to go on sale on 24th February (tomorrow).

The facelifted model has been comprehensively updated with a BS6-compliant petrol engine along with the tweaked styling and added features. The new 1.5L K15B petrol motor takes the place of the existing BS4 1.3L diesel engine. The subcompact SUV lineup can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox (standard) or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission (optional).

Suzuki’s SHVS Smart Hybrid technology is exclusively offered on the automatic trims. The carmaker has confirmed that the updated Maruti Vitara Brezza delivers an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 17.03kmpl with the manual gearbox and 18.76kmpl with the SHVS mild hybrid tech and automatic transmission. What add more value to the package is the new SmartPlay Studio 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic wipers and cruise control. Ditching the existing interior theme, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift comes with the all-black cabin. No changes have been made to its safety kit.

Styling has been revised with features such as chrome grille extending to the front bumper, wider chin, larger fog lamp housings and chrome around the headlamps with large DRLs and turn indicators. The Vitara Brezza facelift gets three new dual-tone colours – Granite Grey with Autumn Orange roof, Torque Blue with Midmight Black roof and Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof. The subcompact SUV will continue to come with monotone 6 regular shades – Sizzling Red, Premium Silver, Autumn Orange, Torque Blue, Granite Grey and Pearl Arctic White.
