Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol – Booking Amount, Waiting Period, Variants
Maruti Suzuki’s top-selling subcompact SUV – Vitara Brezza – is all set to receive a mid-life update in coming days. Ahead of its launch, new details of the updated model have been emerged on the web. Official bookings for the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol will soon be commenced at a token sum of Rs 11,000. Initially, buyers have to wait around 6 to 8 weeks to their deliveries. One must note that will vary variant, colour and region wise.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020, the Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift will come in 4 trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ – powered by a new BS6-compliant 1.5L petrol engine. There will be three automatic models (VXi, ZXi nd ZXi+) and four manual variants (LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+).
The new K-Series petrol motor comes as a replacement to the existing BS4 Fiat-sourced 1.3L Multijet diesel engine. It’s capable to deliver a peak power of 104PS and a maximum torque of 138Nm. The petrol engine is boosted with Suzuki’s SHVS mild hybrid technology. Though, the 1.5L SHVS unit will be reserved for the top-end trims. Mileage figures of the gasoline motor stand at 17.03kmpl (MT) and 18.76kmpl (AT). The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol will be offered with two transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
The new Maruti Vitara Brezza 2020 will come in a choice of 6 Metallic and 3 dual-tone colour schemes. The Metallic shades include Autumn Orange, Premium Silver, Torque Blue, Granite Grey, Pearl Arctic White and Sizzling Red. In terms of features, the updated Vitara Brezza gets a new Smartplay studio touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity along with auto dimming IRVMs and auto folding ORVMs. Minor design changes have also been made to the vehicle.
