Few days after images of 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport surfaced online, more details have emerged about the car ahead of its global unveil at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor and its official launch in Japanese market tomorrow. The new scans of Suzuki Swift Sport brochure reveal concrete information about the hatchback. The sportier version of Suzuki’s popular hatchback will feature a K14C 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET engine, primarily a new version of the turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit good for 140bhp at 5,500rpm against 230Nm torque between 2,500 to 3,500rpm. In terms of dimensions, 2018 Swift Sport will measure 3,890mm in length, 1,735mm in width and 1,500mm in height. Sitting on a 2,450mm long wheelbase, the hatchback will offer decent space for occupants inside the cabin. The ground clearance of 120mm is on the lower side. As for the mileage, the model will deliver a claimed mileage of 16.4 km/l according to JC08 test cycle in manual version and 16.2 km/l in automatic version. New Suzuki Swift Sport Images

Insides will pack in bucket seats with red stitching along with a “Sport” badge and stainless-steel pedals etc. The leather wrapped steering wheel will feature red stitching for a sportier look. Highlights of red will also be seen around the dashboard, centre console, door panels and instrument panel. Suzuki will also offer bespoke options to customers such as decals and colour choices for brake caliper along with other accessories.
