TVS Motor Company, the homegrown two-wheeler maker has launched the all-new TVS Jupiter Classic Edition in the Indian market. This Classic edition variant is priced at Rs 55,266 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and it will be available in all TVS dealerships across the country. The new model is offered with new paint jobs and several added features like round shaped full chrome mirrors. 2017 TVS Jupiter Classic edition is powered by the same 110cc engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 7.9bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8Nm at 5,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a CVT gearbox. Like the regular model, this Classic model also has the TVS patented Ecometer, with an Eco Mode and Power Mode. Talking about features, the TVS Jupiter Classic Edition gets a Sunlit Ivory body color, ‘Classic Edition’ decals, chrome backrest, full chrome mirrors in round shape, etc. The vehicle also gets USB charger and comfortable dual-tone seat. It is based on the Jupiter ZX variant, which has front disc brake and TVS’ Sync Brake system that improves the overall braking system. This SYNC brake system automatically applies the front braking when the rider pulls the rear brake lever. This ensures safely reduce of braking distance. The homegrown automaker has already sold over 1.5 million units of the Jupiter since its launch in India. This scooter is available in 10 colours including Mercury White, Titanium Grey, Midnight Black, Sparkling Silver, Volcano Red, Stallion Brown, Matte Black, Jade Green, Royal Wine and Mystic Gold.
