Developed jointly by TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad, the TVS-BMW G310R sportsbike will hit showrooms in October 2016. This will be BMW’s first 300cc and most affordable motorcycle in the country. Power for the G310R comes from a new 313cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder water-cooled engine that is inclined towards the rear. The powertrain, with a 6-speed gearbox, delivers power worth 34bh at 9,500rpm and 28Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The bike looks quite aggressive and sporty with stunt riding features such as axle pegs on the front axle, large rear wheel brake, ‘stunt tail’, lockable throttle grip and additional brake lever. For dumping duties, the bike gets telescopic fork upfront and monoshock rear suspension system. With such versatile attributes, the TVS-BMW G310R is among the highly-anticipated upcoming new TVS bikes in India.

Its shark-inspired aerodynamic design not only looks stunning, but enhances its handling and drivability as well.

Design highlights include fin-shaped single seat, pronounced fuel tank, large windscreen and front cowl, a full digital speedometer, etc. Powering the Apache RTR 300 is the same 313cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder water-cooled engine that does duty in the TVS-BMW G310R. Paired to a 5, this power-unit churns out 34bhp of power and 28Nm of torque.

The production-ready version of the EntorQ 210 is likely to borrow most of its design elements and features from the concept. It might come with first-in-segment intelligent smartphone integration with GPS navigation system and a smart TFT multi-function console. Other styling features might include LED lighting system, large wheels with radial tubeless tyres, Roto petal dual disc brakes and ABS.
