TVS Motor Company showcased several new models and concepts at the Delhi Auto Expo in February, 2018. The company is now planning to launch some of them in the Indian market. TVS had launched the Apache RR 310 fully-faired sportsbike last year, which has been receiving overwhelming response from the enthusiast community. 1. TVS Zeppelin
TVS Zeppelin, is undoubtedly, one of the much-awaited upcoming new TVS bikes in India. The performance cruiser made its debut in the concept form at the 2018 Auto Expo. With its sporty and aggressive styling, the Zeppelin created buzz among visitors at the biennial event. The cruiser features vertically oriented, rectangular LED headlight, a flat handlebar, split seat, feet forward stance and analog instrument cluster. TVS also equips the cruiser with some advanced features such as an HD action camera, a ‘Smart Bio-Key’, online connectivity options and dual channel ABS.
At the heart of the performance cruiser is a 220cc, single-cylinder engine paired to 1,200-watt regenerative assist motor with a 48-volt Li-ion battery. This system is claimed to enhance overall performance of the bike and deliver 20% more torque when required. The bike also comes with an integrated starter generator (ISG).

Previewed at the Auto Expo 2018, the TVS Apache RTR200 Fi Ethanol is the 100% ethanol-run bike from the Chennai based two-wheeler maker. Representing the brand’s commitment for futuristic greener technology, this bike makes use of the same 200cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with electronic fuel injection with twin-spray-twin-port system. It improves its power delivery with minimal gas emission.
TVS claims that it can do 060kmph in 3.95 seconds and offer a top speed of 129kmph. Save for the green ethanol graphics embossed on fuel tank, the design and styling of the Apache RTR200 Fi Ethanol is exactly similar to the regular model. With aforementioned features, the Apache RTR200 Fi Ethanol will be one of the unique upcoming new TVS bikes in India.

3. TVS X21
TVS Motor Company had showcased TVS X21 concept alongside the Akula 310 concept at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The X21 concept previews the racing and technological competency of the bikemaker. It is to be noted that TVS is yet to reveal its India launch plan. This racing concept is based on lightweight chassis, and claimed to be high on performance. It carries several special race components such as steering damper, race levers and a performance kit.
The concept’s instrument console has a digital speedometer, lap timing, a digital tachometer, a trip meter, clock, etc. Powering the X21 concept is a 212.4cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine that is tuned for achieving higher revs and power. This power motor has fuel injection system along with twin oil coolers, straight flow air filters and free flow canisters. All these racing attributes make the X21 one of the most-awaited upcoming new TVS bikes in India.

Upcoming New TVS Scooters In India
The next on our list of upcoming new TVS scooters in India is the Creon electric scooter that broke cover at the 2018 Auto Expo. Touted as a ‘performance-oriented electric scooter concept”, the Creon derives its power from a three state-of-art Li-ion batteries pushing out 12kW of instantaneous power. For the record, TVS claims that its new electric scooter can mark 0-60kmph in under 5.1 seconds. It has an electronic speed limit of 80km.
Interestingly, the Creon comes equipped with several smart connected technologies developed in a joint venture with Intel. There is a state-of-the-art TFT display showing tachometer, battery charge, trip meter, speedometer, odometer and health status. Other key features include regenerative braking, three custom riding modes, park assist, cloud connectivity, anti-theft, geo-fencing and GPS & navigation.

Considering the growth of the 125cc scooter segment, TVS Motor Company is planning to launch 125cc iteration of the Jupiter scooter. Currently, the vehicle in its testing phase and is reported to hit showrooms sometime this year. Power for the scooter comes from a 125cc, single-cylinder fuel injected (FI) engine paired to a CVT gearbox. This will make it the first FI scooter in the country. The power and torque outputs of this motor are likely to stand at 10bhp and 9-10Nm.
Features such as patented Econometer technology and digital IDI with ignition map technology could also be on offer. The latest spy pictures of the scooter reveal that the Jupiter 125 will feature a new digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and headlamp on/off switch. The front disc brakes and alloy wheels will be similar to the regular model.

The TVS EntorQ 210 racing scooter first broke cover at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. This racing concept signifies TVS’s futuristic design and technology that will be used for its new breed scooters. Rumors suggest that the production version of the scooter will be a 125cc model. Powering the vehicle is an all-aluminum 125cc, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injected technology and an advanced variomatic gearbox. The scooter has an electronic speed limit of 120kmph.
The production-ready version of the EntorQ 210 is likely to borrow most of its design elements and features from the concept. It might come with first-in-segment intelligent smartphone integration with GPS navigation system and a smart TFT multi-function console. Other styling features might include LED lighting system, large wheels with radial tubeless tyres, Roto petal dual disc brakes and ABS.

7. TVS Dazz 110
One of the upcoming new TVS scooters in India is the Dazz 110cc that might see a release this year. To be available with both carbureted and fuel injected models, the TVS Dazz will take on the Hero Duet and Honda Activa. Production of the scooter will take place at the brand’s Hosur based plant.
Visually, the vehicle has sporty appeal thanks to its stylish body graphics, 14-inch alloy wheels, single seat with pillion grab rail and newly-designed taillamp. Power source for the scooter is a new 109.65cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine benefited with the digital fuel injection technology. This motor is good enough for 8.7bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be carried out by a CVT gearbox.
