Suzuki XL7 (7-Seater) Clear Images and Brochure Leaked

We reported earlier that Suzuki is readying an all-new premium MPV, called XL7 for the Indonesian market. Based on the Maruti XL6, the MPV has been showcased at a private event in Indonesia. Exterior, interior pictures along with brochure of the Suzuki XL7 have been leaked online.

In the Indonesian market, the Suzuki XL7 is priced in the range of IDR 230 million to IDR 267 million (approx Rs 12 lakh to Rs 13.94 lakh). The Suzuki XL7 looks similar to the Maruti XL6, except for the shiny double-spoke alloy wheels, door visors and the striking rear upper spoiler. The Indonesian model will be offered with a dual-tone paint scheme with a contrasting black roof.

Inside the cabin, the Suzuki XL7 comes with all-black interior scheme and looks similar to that Maruti XL6. It comes with a bench seat in the second row to accommodate three passengers. The India-spec model sports two captain seats at the same place. For the Indonesian market, the MPV will receive Zeta, Beta and Alpha grades.

In terms of features, the Suzuki XL7 gets LED headlamps with daytime running lights, LED rear combination lamps, roof rails, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, carbon fibre pattern on the dashboard and a centre armrest for the second row. It rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The Beta variant gets LED light guides in the LED rear lamps, chrome door handles, multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, passive keyless entry, push start-stop button, ventilated cup holders, etc. The top-spec Alpha variant gets dual-tone exterior paint scheme, rear upper spoiler, chrome garnish on the number plate, door visor, door sill guards and smart e-mirror.

Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages will be offered as standard safety features. The higher variants get ESP and Hill Hold control. Powering the Suzuki XL7 is a K15B 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
