Suzuki Ertiga Sport MPV Introduced with new body kit and interiors

The new Suzuki Ertiga Sport model comes with new sporty body kit and differently styled interiors.

Japanese automaker, Suzuki has revealed the new special edition of the new-generation Ertiga MPV. Called the Suzuki Ertiga Sport, this model is different from the Ertiga GT and the Ertiga Black Edition. This model comes with new sporty body kit and differently styled interiors.

The Suzuki Ertiga Sport comes with new body kit with silver treatment around the front grille, fog lamps and chin spoiler. The new model rides on newly styled dual-tone alloy wheels, while the rear gets new bumper that styled like a diffuser and a bigger rear spoiler. In terms of styling changes, the Ertiga Sport model gets new grille design, new front under spoilers, new daytime running lights, new side under spoilers, new rear defogger, new rear spoiler, new rear camera parking and new rear under spoilers.

Inside the cabin, the new Suzuki Ertiga Sport gets dual-tone finish. The interior is dominated by black paint complemented by faux wood and grey plastic finish on the dashboard and door panels. This model has all the features that are accessible in the standard top-spec Ertiga in the Indonesian market. The MPV also gets new latest digital air conditioner, which makes it easy to adjust the temperature in the cabin according to the weather.

For passengers’ safety and security, the Suzuki Ertiga Sport model gets dual SRS airbags, hill hold control, electronic brake force distribution, electronic stability program and Anti-lock braking system. In terms of proportions, the Ertiga Sport is 4,470mm in length, 1,735mm in width, 1,690mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,740mm.

Powering the Suzuki Ertiga Sport is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 104bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.

In India, Maruti Suzuki will soon launch the new Ertiga with a 1.5-litre in-house developed diesel engine. This engine will eventually replace the existing FCA sourced 90bhp, 1.3-litre engine. The new K15B 4-cylinder diesel engine is capable of producing 94bhp and 225Nm of torque. Moreover, the company is also developing a premium crossover-MPV based on the Ertiga. This model will be a six-seater car and will be sold through NEXA premium dealerships
