Renault Triber Dimensions Revealed; Gets 5 Colour Schemes

Renault Triber will come in 5 colour options.

Renault Triber, the subcompact 7-seater MPV from the French carmaker, recently made its world debut in India. Official launch of the MPV has been scheduled to happen in the second half of 2019. While the launch is a few months away, the dimensions and colour details of the MPV have been revealed. In terms of proportions, the Renault Triber measures 3990mm in length, 1739mm in width and 1643mm in height (without roof rails). The MPV sits on a 2636mm long wheelbase, and stands on a 182 (unladen) ground clearance. Its kerb weight stands at 947kg. While achieving sub-4 meter length, Renault has managed to offer ample cabin space.

Based on the modified CMF-A + platform, the Renault Triber offers shoulder room of 1356mm, 1330mm and 1261mm for the first, second and third row passengers respectively. It has a front track of 1547mm and a rear track of 1545mm. While the 14-inch wheels with 165/80 section tyres are standard, the 15-inch alloy wheels with 185/65 section tyres are reserved for the top-spec trim. As a 5-seater, the Triber offers a cargo space of 620L. There are multiple storage compartments including a cooled glove box, a cooled central storage area and 31L storage area. The MPV also gets a 12V power socket and AC vents for each row of passengers. Powering the Renault Triber will be a 1.0L, 3-cylinder ‘Energy’ petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option. Its power and torque outputs stand at 71bhp and 96Nm respectively.
