Safety on priority – The new Fortuner gets several high-end safety features as standard. Latin New Car Assessment Program gave Toyota Fortuner 2016 SUV a 5-star rating. It is equipped with 7 SRS Airbags (3 airbags (dual front and driver’s knee airbag as standard in base model), ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), Brake Assist, HAC (Hill Start Assist Control), VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), DAC (Downhill Assist Control), TSC (Trailer Sway Control), reversing camera and 3-point seat belts with emergency lock retractors (ELR).
