New Honda Civic Gets Over 1100 Bookings In Just 20 Days

Official bookings for the new Civic were commenced on 15th February, 2019.

Honda Cars India recently introduced the all-new Civic sedan in the country. At the launch event, Gaku Nakanishi, President and CEO Honda Cars India, has also confirmed that the new Honda Civic 2019 has received over 1100 bookings so far. Official bookings for the luxury sedan were commenced on 15th February, 2019.

The new Honda Civic 2019 comes in three petrol variants – V, VX and ZX – priced at Rs 17.69 lakh, Rs 19.19 lakh and Rs 20.99 lakh respectively. While the VX MT diesel trim costs Rs 20.49 lakh, the fully-loaded ZX MT model is priced at Rs 22.29 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India. In India, the new Honda Civic 2019 has been made available with a 1.6L, 4-cylinder i-DTEC diesel and 1.8L, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine options. While the former makes 118bhp with 300Nm of torque, the latter one delivers 139bhp with 174Nm. The 2019 Honda Civic carries an all-new design with features such as a chromed wing grille, LED headlamps, angular bumper, 17-inch dual tone alloys, new C-shaped LED taillamps and the fastback roofline. Inside, the sedan gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electric sunroof, a 7-inch instrument cluster, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control and a push-button start system. For safety purpose, the new Honda Civic 2019 offers six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, agile handling assist, electric parking brake and hill start assist.
