2019 Ford Figo Bookings Open At Dealership Level – Report
2019 Ford Figo facelift is reported to go on sale on 15th March.
Ford’s highly-popular Figo hatchback will soon receive a mid-life update in India. According to Autocar, the new Ford Figo 2019 facelift will see a release on coming 15th March. In fact, certain dealers have started taking pre-bookings for the vehicle at a token sum of Rs 10,000. For the 2019 model year, the hatchback will receive minor design and feature upgrades along with two new powertrains.
The new Ford Figo 2019 facelift will come with a 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol, a 1.5L petrol and 1.5L TDCi diesel engines generating 95bhp with 120Nm, 121.3bhp with 150Nm and 99bhp with 215Nm respectively. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The new Figo Blu variant will feature a glossy black finish on the front grille, roof and mirror caps. The black decals on the side and boot lip and blacked out alloy wheels will add more to its sporty look. Interior might also get slightly different upholstery than the regular model. Some of its key changes will include a honeycomb grille, new headlamps, revised bumpers, newly-designed alloy wheels, Ford’s Sync3 infotainment system with a 6.5-inch floating touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and new upholstery. At the safety front, the new Ford Figo 2019 facelift is likely to get dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a speed alert system, reverse parking sensors and seat belt reminders as standard.
