2020 Hyundai Creta will rival on the upcoming Kia Seltos.

The South Korean carmaker that entered into sub-compact SUV space with the all-new Hyundai Venue, will soon give a generation change to its highest-selling SUV – Hyundai Creta. According to a latest media report, the next-generation Creta will debut at the Delhi Auto Expo in February, 2020, followed by its launch. In the premium compact SUV segment, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will take on the upcoming Kia Seltos that will have its India debut on coming 20th June.

Design changes that will be made to the 2020 Hyundai Creta are likely to be inspired by the China-spec Hyundai ix25. The latest spy pictures reveal that the SUV new-generation model will witness comprehensive styling updates along with significant dimensional changes. Interestingly, the new Creta will come with 5-seats and 7-seats layouts. Its overall length and width will be increased along with the significantly stretched wheelbase. Interior could also be upgraded with a set of advanced connectivity features including Hyundai’s Blue Link technology, internet-based features (similar to the Venue) and a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. As far as engines are concerned, the 2020 Hyundai Creta could be offered with a new BS6-ready 1.5L petrol and diesel powertrains. Both engines will debut on the Kia Seltos. Transmission choices will include manual and automatic units.
