Maruti Suzuki India will have an exciting product lineup at the Auto Expo 2020 that sets to begin on 5th February in Greater Noida. The carmaker has already confirmed unveiling of the all-new Maruti Futuro-e coupe-SUV concept, followed by the launch of new Vitara Brezza and Ignis facelifts. The company might also showcase the Nexa-bound Maruti XL5 hatchback at the event.

The Maruti XL5 is essentially the premium version of the WagonR hatchback with minor styling changes and an extra pack of features. The vehicle has already been caught on camera multiple times. The spy pictures confirm that the XL5 hatchback will carry projector headlamps with split design, LED DRLs, revised bumper and fog lamps at the front end.

To be retailed via Nexa dealerships, the Maruti XL5 could be introduced as top-ranging trim of the WagonR hatchback. Its prices are likely to start from Rs 5 lakh and go up to Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom). If launched in this price range, the new XL5 will be gun up straight against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
