2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Launch Date

The much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift will finally see a release on 6th February at the Auto Expo 2020. The updated model will witness subtle changes inside and out. This time around, the subcompact SUV will receive a BS6-compliant 1.5K15B petrol engine replacing the existing 1.3L diesel motor. The new gasoline unit will be boosted SHVS mild hybrid technology. The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol will return 103.5bhp of power and 138Nm of torque.

  • The SUV will see minor design and feature upgrades.
  • It will come with manual and an automatic gearbox.
  • Prices are likley to be more or less similar to the existing model.

The petrol SHVS powertrain will be sourced from the Ertiga. Paired to a manual gearbox, the 1.5L gasoline unit delivers a mileage of 19.34kmpl. The updated Maruti Vitara Brezza lineup can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.

2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol

Upfront, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift will carry a slightly wider chin and larger fog lamp assembly. The headlamps will get new chrome bits with LED DRLs. The turn indicators will be slightly repositioned. The higher trim will be exclusively offered with diamond cut alloy wheels and LED fog lamps. The updated Vitara Brezza will also receive new LED taillamps and LED turn indicators. The carmaker might also offer a new colour scheme on the subcompact SUV lineup. Inside the cabin, the new Vitara Brezza facelift will get a new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system that will also work as a display for the reverse camera.

The Indo-Japanese carmaker will unveil the all-new Maruti Suzuki Futuro-e Coupe-SUV concept on 5th February at the biennial event. The new Ignis facelift will also be launched at the Auto Expo on 7th February. For the first time, the carmaker will display the Swift hybrid hatchback.
