The new SUV is expected to be based on the modified version of the C-Platform, which currently underpins the global Suzuki Vitara and the Vitara Brezza compact SUV. The company could also opt for the new lightweight HEARTECT platform, which underpins a wide range of Maruti products in India.

Few media reports also suggest that Maruti Suzuki could utilise Toyota Raize platform to develop a new mid-sized SUV, which will also be sold under Toyota nameplate. Going by the teaser images, it is visible that the SUV gets slopping roofline, squared pronounced wheel arches, and the raked black glass to offer coupe-like profile. The SUV gets C-shaped tail-lamps with daytime running lights, and wrap-around LED tail-lights, and thin ORVMs with integrated blinkers. Also See – Maruti Futuro-E Coupe SUV rendered based on teaser.
