Maruti Suzuki Vitara SUV Spotted In India

Maruti Suzuki Vitara might have its India debut at the 2020 Auto Expo.

India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is planning to foray into mid-size SUV space that’s currently dominated by Hyundai Creta. Rumour has it that the carmaker might bring in the new-generation Vitara sometime next year. The vehicle might make its India debut at the Auto Expo in February, 2020. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara will be retailed via Nexa dealerships and take on cars like Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and the upcoming Kia Seltos.

Recently, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara 5-seater SUV was spotted in the country. Painted in Black shade, the SUV misses out on the signature badges. Design bits such as U-shaped LED DRLs (daytime running lights), circular fog lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels confirm that the spotted model is the updated version of the SUV that was revealed last year.
