Mahindra managed to sell Marazzo with an average of around 2,500-3,000 units per month.

Mahindra’s all-new premium MPV – Marazzo – has been receiving overwhelming response from buyers. The vehicle has garnered 18,000 bookings since September 2018. The high demand has relatively increased its waiting period up to 6 weeks/45 days that will vary variant-wise. The company managed to sell Mahindra Marazzo with an average of around 2,500-3,000 units per month.

The home-grown carmaker retailed over 3,800 units and 3,300 units of the Marazzo MPV in October and November 2018 respectively. Interestingly, it’s the first Mahindra car to achieve 4-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests. The MPV scored 4 stars in adult occupant protection and 2 stars in child occupant protection. With such high scores, the Mahindra Marazzo also becomes the safest MPV in the country.

The Mahindra Marazzo, currently, is available in four trims and eight variants with 7-seats and 8-seats options. Prices of the 7-seater version start from Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 13.90 lakh, while the 8-seater models are priced between Rs 10.04 lakh – Rs 13.95 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. One must note that prices of the Mahindra Marazzo will be increased from 1st January, 2019.

Mahindra’s new premium MPV is the world’s first front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicle based on the ladder-frame chassis and to feature a transversely mounted engine. The Marazzo sources its power from an all-new 1.5L, four-cylinder diesel engine generating 121bhp with 300Nm of torque. The company has confirmed that it will introduce the Marazzo with petrol motor before the deadline of the BS6 emission norms – i.e. April, 2020. The petrol version is likely to get a 1.5L unit developing power around 120bhp. Mahindra will also bring in automatic variants of the MPV.
