1. Competitive Pricing

Jeep Compass Trailhawk has been priced at Rs 26.8 lakh, which is around Rs 3.7 lakh more than the previous range-topping Compass Limited Plus trim. It comes as an affordable option for buyers who are looking for large SUV with some serious off-roading capabilities. In fact, it’s cheaper than the larger SUVs like Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour that cost between Rs 29.84 lakh – 33.60 lakh and Rs 28.20 lakh – Rs 33.70 lakh respectively.

2. Off-road Version

Jeep Compass Trailhawk is essentially the off-road version of the Compass. Built for the heavy duty off-roading, the model features Jeep’s Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with a new ‘Rock Mode’. With even power and torque distribution, locking axles and hill descent control settings, it enables the vehicle to overcome the challenging off-road situations at low speeds. Unlike the regular Compass, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk gets blacked out details and looks sportier. The front and rear bumpers have been revised and get satin metallic black at front and side accents. While the front bumper has dual inbuilt tow hooks, the rear bumper gets a single unit. The SUV features blacked out Jeep badges in red accents and a large ‘Trailhawk’ badge on the boot lid. The side fenders also feature ‘Trail Rated’ moniker. The Compass’ off-road version comes with the exclusive dual tone alloy wheels. It also gets a panoramic sunroof.

4. Competent Engine & New Gearbox

In India, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk has been made available with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Multijet II diesel powertrain that pushes out a peak power of 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission duties are performed by a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The regular Compass SUV is also be available with a 1.4-litre petrol motor paired to a 6-speed torque converter.
