Jeep Compass Trailhawk possesses some serious off-road capabilities.
Jeep India introduced the Compass Trailhawk in the Indian market at Rs 26.8 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as the range-topping variant, the new off-roader version of the SUV is priced around Rs 3.7 lakh more premium than the Compass Limited Plus 4X4 variant. The trail rated version of the Compass possesses some serious off-road capabilities thanks to its select-terrain 4WD system, hill descent control settings and locking axles.
The revised bumpers approach and departure angles, 30mm higher ground clearance and increased water wading depth add more to its off-road performance. The carmaker has also improved vehicle dynamics, drivability and NVH levels. On the exterior, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk wears some sporty bits including satin metallic black at the front and side accents, grille with gunmetal finish, black ORVMs, anti-glare bonnet decal painted in black shade and 17-inch alloys with all-terrain tyres. Interior too has sporty appeal with elements like all black leather seats with red piping, dashboard with red accents, leather wrapped gear lever, panels and steering and all weather floor mats.
