Jaguar Land Rover India has further expanded its F-Type model lineup in the county. The carmaker introduced the 2018 Jaguar F-Type with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine. Available in Coupe and Convertible body style, the vehicle has been priced at Rs 90.93 lakh and Rs 1.01 crore (ex-showroom, India) respectively.
The new turbocharged gasoline motor delivers a claimed power of 300bhp and 400Nm of torque. Transmission on offer is an 8-speed electronic automatic unit. Composed of all-aluminum, the Ingenium petrol modular engine is 53kg lighter than the replacing unit. Jaguar claims that it can do 0-100kmph in 5.7 seconds. The Indian product lineup of JLR currently includes 11 models, namely, the XF, XE, XJ, F-Pace and the F-Type from Jaguar and the , Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, new Discovery, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar and the Range Rover from Land Rover.
The carmaker recently launched the F-Type SVR with a 567bhp, 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine. Developed by SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) team, the vehicle comes in Coupe and Convertible body style.
