Jaguar F-Type SVR Bookings Open; Priced at Rs 2.65 crore

Jaguar F-TYPE SVR India

Jaguar Land Rover India has started taking bookings for its fastest production car ever, the Jaguar F-Type SVR. The Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is priced from Rs 2.65 Crore (ex-showroom, India). This model is developed by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team at Jaguar Land Rover. The company claims that the engineers and aerodynamic experts have scrutinised every possible component to maximize the F-TYPE SVR’s performance.

Powering the F-TYPE SVR is a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine that produces 567bhp (kW) of power and 700Nm of torque. This model can accelerate to 100kmph from zero in just 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 322kmph. The Jaguar F-TYPE SVR is available in Coupe and Convertible form. Jaguar F-TYPE SVR India Rear

Speaking on the commencement of bookings, Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL), said, “The new F-TYPE SVR is the first Jaguar car to have been developed by the Special Vehicle Operations. Their ideas of precision engineering reflect brilliantly in each aspect of the car. Inside the cabin, the F-TYPE SVR gets SVR performance seats that offer lateral support during dynamic driving. Seats also come with an option of cooling. These seats are around 8kgs lighter than the previous model. The use of Titanium and Inconel exhaust system further saves 16kg. Forged 20-inch alloy wheels save a further 13.8kg, while the use of a new, larger rear bearing enables an increased stiffness of up to 37 % higher than the conventional F-TYPE rear knuckles. The F-Type SVR also gets V-MAX mode that allows driver to achieve astonishing speeds with minimum drag. Wider Pirelli P-Zero tyres – 10 mm wider than standard F-TYPE tyres – offers improved grip and handling.
