New Details Of Maruti Tour H1 (Alto Taxi) Emerge Online

Maruti Tour H1 variant looks slightly different from the regular Alto.

Maruti Suzuki India might soon introduce its popular Alto in the fleet market. According to an online report, the taxi version of the hatchback will be named as Maruti Tour H1. According to the leaked brochure scan, the Maruti Tour H1 uses the same 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The gasoline unit pushes out a peak power of 48PS at 6,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 3,500rpm.

The Tour H1 has an electronic speed limit of 80kmph. Mileage figure of the of the hatchback stands at 23.95kmpl. The Indo-Japanese carmaker might offer CNG variant of the Alto taxi at a later stage. Design and styling of the Maruti Tour H1 is slightly different from the regular model. The hatchback’s taxi version features black front and rear bumpers, black ORVMs, black door handles and steel rims. The vehicle will be offered in three colour schemes, Superior White, Midnight Black and Silky Silver. Inside, the Maruti Tour H1 features a power steering, manual adjustment ORVMs, a manual AC unit, front power windows, boot opener and remote fuel lid.

Maruti Suzuki Alto is ready for a generation change in India. The new model of the hatchback will have crossover-ish design along with several new goodies and new engine setup. It might also get an AMT (automated manual gearbox).
