Korean automaker, Hyundai will launch the much-anticipated Venue compact SUV in India on May 21, 2019. Some of the Hyundai dealers have already started taking pre-bookings for the SUV, though official bookings are yet to commence. The Hyundai Venue will take on the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra XUV300. These sub-4 meter SUVs are well established in our market and carries certain amount of fan following. Hyundai BlueLink – The Venue is equipped with Hyundai’s advanced connectivity solution – BLUE LINK. This system offers 33 features out of which 10 are India specific. It gets an in-built tampered proof e-SIM, which allows user to track the car, geo fence, time fencing, vehicle remote on a smartphone, real-time traffic information and many more.
Air Purifier with self-cleaning AC filter & Eco-Coating – This is a very good adition in the new Venue and people from metros facing severe air pollution would appreciate this feature.
7-speed dual-clutch transmission – The Venue will be the only SUV in its category to offer 7-speed dual-clutch transmission option. This gearbox is mated to a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that offers 118bhp and 172Nm of torque.
Wireless charger – This is also the segment-first feature, which none of its competition offer. Hyundai’s premium SUV – Creta also has the wireless charger. However, to use this features your phone must support wireless charging option.

HD 8-inch infotainment display – The Venue is equipped with an 8.0-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The touch display is high definition unit, which offers better resolutions and improved visibility during bright sunny day.
Arkamys sound system – Hyundai is offering the Arkamys customised sound output system with the Creta SUV. The Venue will be the only model in the sub-4 meter category to come with this sound output system. The sound system has been specifically tuned keeping Venue’s interior design in mind.
3 years/unlimited KM & warranty 3 Years RSA support – Hyundai is giving 3 years and unlimited kilometers warranty free of cost with the Venue compact SUV. Adding to it, the Hyundai Venue comes with 3 years road side assistance plan without any extra charge.
The Hyundai Venue compact SUV will be available with 3 engine options – a 83bhp, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 118bhp, 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol and a 89bhp, 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual (1.2L petrol), a 6-speed manual (1.0L petrol & 1.4L diesel) and a 7-speed DCT (1.0L petrol).
