Honda Amaze compact sedan gets new top-end VX CVT variant

Japanese automaker, Honda has introduced a new VX CVT top-end variant of the Amaze sub-4 meter sedan. Earlier, the CVT option was offered in S and V grade of Honda Amaze. The new Amaze VX CVT petrol and diesel variants are priced at Rs 8.57 lakh and Rs 9.57 lakh respectively.

The new Honda Amaze VX CVT variant gets key additional features over the V CVT model. In terms of features, the sedan gets 17.7cm advanced touchscreen infotainment system with in-built satellite linked turn by turn navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, IR Remote control, additional USB-In port, steering mounted voice control switches, rear camera with guidelines and driver side window one touch up with pinch guard.

Speaking on the introduction of new top grade VX CVT in Honda Amaze Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The 2nd Generation Honda Amaze set a new benchmark in its segment with over 20% of our customers opting for advanced CVT variants in both petrol and diesel. The new Honda Amaze is now available in 4 trim levels in manual transmission for petrol and diesel – E, S, V and VX. The CVT option is now offered in S, V and VX trim in both petrol and diesel. Adding to it, the sedan will also receive front passenger seat belt reminder and high speed alarm as standard. These features have been added ahead of safety regulations that will be implemented from 1st July 2019. Dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorage and impact sensing door unlock are available as standard.
