Hyundai Santa Fe SUV Is Coming Back To India – Report

New Hyundai Santa Fe 2019

The new-gen Hyundai Santa Fe was first previewed at Hyundai’s Motorstudio Goyang in Seoul, South Korea.

Hyundai’s flagship SUV – Santa Fe – was silently phased out in India last year. A recent online report suggests the premium SUV will make a comeback in an all-new avatar. First previewed at Hyundai’s Motorstudio Goyang in Seoul, South Korea, the fourth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe might make its way to our market via CKD (Completely Built Up) route and is estimated to cost over Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The South Korean carmaker believes that the premium SUV will witness growth in the short term. The new Hyundai Santa Fe will come as an option for buyers who want to experience premium drivability or upgrade to full-size premium SUV. The company will further expand its SUV lineup with the new Creta and Tucson 7-seater models, QXi sub-4 meter and a micro SUV. Hyundai will also give a generation change to its three popular SUVs – Creta and Tucson.
