Hyundai N Performance Models To Showcase at 2020 Auto Expo – Report

Hyundai aims to strengthen its premium brand image in India.

It’s surely exciting news for the auto enthusiasts! Hyundai Motor will soon introduce its N performance brand in the Indian market. The Hyundai N and N-Line cars are the performance-oriented versions of the production models featuring more powerful engine and performance enhancing design bits. According to a latest media report, the South Korean carmaker might showcase some of its N range models at the 2020 Auto Expo. The company might also announce the brand’s official launch in the country. With N Performance models, Hyundai aims to strengthen its premium brand image. Hyundai’s N-Line vehicles boosted with a proprietary N engine tuned for generating more power and torque than their regular models. These performance-oriented models also feature some sporty design elements including aggressive bumpers, side skirts, spoilers and ‘N’ division badges and monikers.

Hyundai’s global N Performance lineup includes three models – i30 N Line, i30 Fastback N Line and Tucson N Line. Rumour has it that Hyundai is also working on the N version of the i20 hatchback (new-generation). A prototype of the hot hatch has already been caught on camera during its test rounds on European roads. The carmaker might use a 1.6L T-GDI turbocharged petrol engine for the i20 N. Reports suggest that Hyundai i20 N Performance and Venue N-Line Performance might make their to the Indian market.
