Hyundai Venue N-Line Performance Variant in the Works

2020 Hyundai Venue N-Line

The Hyundai Venue N-Line is not likely to receive changes under the bonnet.

Korean automaker, Hyundai has recently revealed the long-awaited Venue in India as well as at the New York Motor Show. The sub-4 meter SUV will officially go on sale in the Indian market in May, 2019. What’s interesting is that media reports claim that Hyundai is also working on a performance oriented version of the Venue. The company is already selling the Tucson N-Line in the international markets.

It is expected that the Hyundai Venue N-Line will receive changes in-line with the Tucson N-Line. The vehicle is not likely to receive any upgrade under the hood, and the changes are expected to be limited to the exterior and interior. The compact SUV could receive sportier bumpers, side skirts with aggressive splitters and spoilers. Adding to it, the mini SUV could receive new racy decals and sportier alloy wheels. In the future, Hyundai could launch the fully-loaded Venue N-Line model with more powerful engine and updated suspension set-up. In the global markets, the hotter version of the Hyundai Venue will challenge the likes of Seat Arona Cupra, Audi Q2 S and the Volkswagen T-Cross R. Transmission options will include a 5-speed MT (1.2L Petrol), a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT (1.0L Petrol).
